Voix Manager has been thought with simplicity in mind, all
feature needed by the attendant, fast and easy usable, with the minimum configurations,
just fill the phone and manager login information and play.
Anyone who is familiar
with the Open-Source Community
is fully aware of the high quality of the software there. Among these is Asterisk,
a professional open souce PBX that integrates POTS telephone
systems with VoIP.
Although Asterisk is a powerful, readily available application,
optimal use of the program is still a privilege for those who are well versed
in the use of the command line and for system administrators, who are themselves
often overwhelmed by the complexity and large number of possible configurations
when the installation of new software extensions becomes necessary.

Applications developed by third parties albeit expensive require such time-consuming
and complex configuration that it compromises the performance of a comprehensive
and highly flexible system.
The same is true for Asterisk, which is frequently used as if it were just
a run-of-the-mill low-cost, switchboard application.
Voix Manager was
developed in c++ and is multi-platform, comes complete with an IAX2 telephone,
and an interface for managing internal and external phone lines (VoIP, POTS or ISDN),
which is self-configuring with the Asterisk
Manager. The only requirement for end users is to logon to their telephone
and Asterisk Manager.
Voix Manager, unlike other similar applications, does not
require installation or configuration on the server a distinct advantage for
embedded systems that are almost impossible to access.
